Sandy Melina has taught Pilates at City Club for seven years. Her personalized approach to instruction invites her clients to focus more on what is stable than what is moving. This approach enables a deeper connection to one’s core and an appreciation of the vital role it plays in every movement we make. She encourages her clients to move mindfully and with intent, ease and flow in order to strengthen, lengthen and sculpt muscles. Sandy and husband, Richard, have been City Club members since 1986.
Julie LaBruyere
Pilates Instructor
Julie is a dedicated, certified Pilates instructor who is committed to health and wellness. She has been teaching Pilates 12 years after trying several different fitness routines. “I love that Pilates incorporates various exercises to create a full body workout. It is accessible to ALL fitness levels and ages. Seeing the change that Pilates makes in the lives of my clients is what really drives my passion”.
